Eric Zeng Managing Director Chief Executive & Finance Officer Eric Zeng was appointed as Perilya's General Manager Finance and Commercial in July of 2016 and Executive Director of Perilya on 9th May 2018. In September 2022 Eric was appointed Perilya's Managing Director and Chief Executive & Finance Officer. Eric is a fellow charted certified accountant and he started his career in assurance with one of the big 4 firms, which offered him a diverse career working with a wide range of businesses and industries. Prior to joining Perilya in 2013, Eric was the deputy general manager of securities department of Zhongjin Lingnan, with duties including regulatory compliance with Shenzhen Stock Exchange listing rules and active communication with CSRC. He also had exposure on Singapore listing rules when he worked for a Singapore Exchange listed company as an acting deputy CFO. Eric has around 20 years of audit, accounting, financing, stock exchange corporate governance, and commercial experience.
| Bruce Byrne BEng (Mechanical Engineering) Chief Operating Officer Bruce Byrne was appointed as Deputy General Manager of the Company’s Broken Hill Operations in 2008 having more than 25 years’ experience in senior roles within the mining industry. Since commencing his career, Bruce has worked in technical and operational management roles in Engineering, Metallurgy and Mining functions. He has continued to work at the Broken Hill mine through various changes of ownership and commenced employment with Perilya in 2002.has a wealth of local mining knowledge and experience, a highly developed operational skill set and is a well-regarded mining executive and a long standing employee of the Company. Bruce was appointed General Manager of Broken Hill Operations and Executive Director of Perilya Broken Hill Limited on 1 October 2014. |
Chris Chindanya MBA, BSc (Hons) Mining Eng, MAusIMM General Manager Broken Hill Operations Chris Chindanya was appointed as General Manager of the Company’s Broken Hill Operations in September 2023 having previously served as Mining Manager for the Northern Operations, part of Broken Hill Operations, since September 2019. Chris has more than 15 years of mining experience and has a solid base of technical, operational and management skills gained from exposure in multiple roles within the mining industry. Prior to joining Perilya, Chris worked across multiple commodities at several operations across mining jurisdictions and has a wealth of diverse experience and knowledge having worked across various challenging ore bodies and extraction methods. Chris has a highly developed technical and operational skill set and is a well-regarded mining professional with a passion for continuous improvement. | Martin Jones B.AppSc (Geology), MAusIMM, MAIG Chief Geologist Martin has over 37 years' Australian and overseas exploration experience and success for world class precious and base metal deposits, and since 2009 has been responsible for Perilya’s global geology, resource development and exploration activities. Martin has a diverse background in all facets of exploration, mining, discovery, resource development and project management and development in various geologic deposit styles and terrains. Prior to joining Perilya Martin spent 13 years working for the Normandy/Newmont group in Senior geological management positions of which 10 years was spent in Southeast Asia. In 2016 Martin led Perilya's exploration team to discover and grow the world class Cerro de Maimon South VMS discovery in the Dominican Republic which extended the mine life by at least 25 years and now the first underground mine in that country. In 2017 Martin was involved in the divestment of Perilya's 60% interest in the Moblan Lithium deposit in Quebec and the 2023 sale of the Mount Oxide Copper project in Queensland. Prior to working with Perilya Martin worked on the world class Martabe Gold Project in Indonesia during the early stages of discovery and from 2003 managed all site activities including the resource definition and site feasibility stages for Newmont until it was sold in 2006. Returning to Australia in 2006 Martin then managed Newmont's remote Tanami exploration effort as District Exploration Manager.
